Central Home Supply is Building new Scotts Valley Yard

Central Home Supply, a family-owned Santa Cruz landscape and building supply company for over 30 years, announces the construction of a second location in Scotts Valley.

The new yard, a completely new facility, sits on four acres on El Peublo Road near Scarborough Lumber, and is expected to be open in later this summer. A 6,000 square foot building will house retail displays, offices, and warehouse.

Central Home Supply was founded in 1974 by John and Ann Santee. They moved to the present location, over 5 centrally-located acres at the corner of Highways One and Nine (River Street) in Santa Cruz in 1977. The company is still family owned and operated by brothers Rick and Rusty Santee.

As a family owned and operated business, Central Home Supply prides itself on personal, one-on-one service; expert advice; referrals to local contractors; and an ever-growing list of products. Central Home Supply offers over 2,500 products; there are over 100 types of natural stone alone!

Virtually all the same products will be carried at new site, including paving stones, rock, sand and gravel, retaining wall systems, concrete products, masonry block, tools, plaster, bricks, wallboard, soil and mulch, erosion control, and more.
