Central Home Supply stocks bagged concrete, mortar, thinset, and repair products at our Scotts Valley yard. Contractors pick up by the pallet, and homeowners pick up by the bag. If you do not see what you need on the shelf, most of what we do not stock we can bring in on special order.
Cement and Concrete
Standard mixes in 60 and 80 pound bags cover sidewalks, steps, garden slabs, and post setting. Quikrete 5000 delivers 5,000 psi for driveways, foundations, and anything carrying vehicle weight.
Fast-Setting sets in roughly 20 to 40 minutes, which is what you want for fence posts and mailboxes where bracing a wet pour overnight is not practical. Countertop mix uses a finer aggregate for smooth decorative finishes and is available on special order. Rebar and re-mesh for reinforcing a slab are stocked alongside.
GraniteCrete
GraniteCrete is a binder that stabilizes decomposed granite into a firm, permeable paving surface. It holds together as a walking surface without the loose scatter of unbound DG, and water still passes through it, which suits paths, patios, and garden walkways on water-conscious projects.

Mortar, Plastic Cement and Color
Type S mortar in 80-pound bags handles structural masonry where tensile bond strength matters. We also carry 94-pound tan mortar and white mortar for color matching, and polymer-modified Veneerstone mortar formulated for thin stone veneer. Thinset comes in regular and multipurpose, gray and white. Grout mix for filling block cores and stone joints is in the same aisle.
Davis Color and Quikrete Color give integral pigment for slabs, steps, and decorative pours. Bring a target color to the counter, and we will work through dosage with you, since the base mix shifts the finished result as much as the pigment does. Stains and sealers for finishing a colored pour are stocked here too.
Repair and Specialty Products
Anchoring cement sets railings, posts, and bolts into concrete. Water-Plug stops active leaks in masonry.
Vinyl patch and concrete resurfacer handle worn or spalled surfaces. Self-leveling compound is stocked in regular and fast-setting. Blacktop patch, a cold asphalt product, repairs driveways and lots without a hot mix crew.
Choosing a Mix
Match the mix to the load. Sidewalks, steps, and garden slabs run fine on standard mix. Driveways and foundations want high-strength product. Posts and mailboxes want fast-setting so you are not babysitting a pour.
Water is where most bagged concrete goes wrong. Too much water measurably weakens the finished pour and raises cracking risk, so follow the ratio on the bag rather than mixing to whatever pours easily. Calculate your volume before you come in, since a second trip costs more than an extra bag. Mixing tubs, trowels, and floats and the rest of our masonry tools are in the yard.
When You Need Ready Mix Instead
Bagged concrete makes sense up to a point. Past a few cubic yards, hand mixing stops being practical and a ready mix truck delivered from a batching plant is the better call. We will tell you when you have crossed that line rather than sell you forty bags you will regret.
