Concrete Wall Caps in Scotts Valley, CA

Caps That Match Your Existing Block

Profiles That Shed Water Instead of Trapping It

Delivered and Set Where You Need Them

Trusted Wall Cap Supplier Backed by Experience, Selection, and Local Knowledge

Central Home Supply is a family-owned wall cap supplier serving homeowners, contractors, and landscapers across Scotts Valley, Santa Cruz, Santa Clara, and Monterey Counties. We have been in the materials business for 50+ years, and we stock concrete wall caps in twelve standard colors alongside natural stone wall toppers, matching corners, column caps, and the masonry adhesive that sets them. An uncapped wall takes water straight into the block cores, and the staining, cracking, and root intrusion that follow cost far more to fix than the caps would have cost to set.

This page covers the profiles we carry, which one your exposure calls for, and how to count the pieces. We supply the materials and refer you to licensed local contractors for the installation.

Wall Cap Materials and Profiles We Stock

Where Wall Caps Go on a Property

Match the profile to what the wall is doing.

  • Retaining Walls

Sloped or peaked caps on exposed runs where winter rain needs to shed rather than sit.

  • Terraces, Beds, and Pathways

A capped edge visually separates a lawn from a planting bed, a terrace from a patio, and gives the whole line a finished architectural edge.

  • Garden and Seat Walls

Wide, flat caps that give a level surface for seating around a patio or fire pit.

  • Curved and Radiused Walls

Caps cut to follow the curve, so the run reads as continuous rather than segmented.

  • Columns, Gates, and Fence Runs

Column caps sized to the pillar, in the same color run as the wall.

Bring your linear footage and a photo, and we will work out the count before you start comparing prices.

Why Walls Fail at the Top Course

An open top course takes water straight into the block cores and the joints behind them.

  • Water Gets In and Stays — Saturated block expands and contracts through wet winters and dry summers, working the masonry apart from the inside and causing stains to run down the face where nobody wants them.

  • Weight Adds Stability — A quality cap adds stabilizing weight to the top tier and locks the last course of block in place.

  • Weeds and Roots Find the Joints — Open vertical joints at the top are an invitation, and root intrusion widens what water started.

  • Uneven Block Ends Disappear — No amount of care on the top row fully evens out block ends. A cap covers them.

  • The Overhang Does the Work — A cap set with a slight overhang at the face throws water clear of the wall. Set flush with the block, it drips down the face instead, which is the most common capping mistake we see.

A cap does not make a wall structural. Drainage, base prep, and block rated for the load still decide whether it holds.

Why Homeowners and Contractors Choose Central Home Supply

Caps That Match Your Existing Block

Twelve standard colors, plus corners and column caps in the same run. Bring a block or a photo, and we will match the cap to the wall rather than sending you home with a near-miss.

Profiles That Shed Water, Not Trap It

Flat, sloped, peaked, or bullnose. We will tell you which one your wall and your exposure call for, since getting it right is what keeps water out of the cores and off the face.

Delivered and Set Where You Need Them

Caps ship palletized because of the weight. Our forklift trucks deliver across the county for commercial and residential jobs alike, and we set the pallets where the work is happening, not at the curb.
